Multiple Forms of Income

Well helllooooo. Yes it has been a few days since i last posted but i have been a little bit busy with some things in the office. But, I am back, and ready to talk about my next topic. Something i had brought up briefly in one of my old posts. Todays topic? Multiple forms of income.

Plain and simply if you have a job and are getting a bi weekly or weekly salary, then chances are, its not enough. HELL when is it ever enough $$$. The more money coming towards you the better it is, right?

So how do you do this? You have your J-O-B, you are making your standard $$$. With that being your bread and butter try and find something you can do that people need, something that is in high demand and that people are willing to give you money for. For example, by day you work in retail, footlocker or any sneaker store. If you use the sales techniques i mentioned earlier in my last posts you will learn to study your audience. Now Being at foot locker you get to see many faces many people with many different careers. Find something that you can do that will be good for everyone that you meet. things that are specific but not to specific, like web design, music, computer tech etc etc. Something that when you strike up a conversation with these people you can easily slide in your "side job." hand them a business card, take theres and move on to the next person.

Remember business is all about networking and organization. Even if the person you spoke to does not need your card there are chances that he/she may know someone who does need your services. and bam you have your second source of income WHILE you worked on your first form of income. Simpler terms while at foot locker selling shoes you promoted yourself using networking and have got yourself a possible sale in your other field. You do that all day you are going to get yourself a few good contacts.

Now your last form of income should be something that you dont depend on but can do. Check with your banks see if they offer any $$$ for referals. Or even blogging using adsense its an easy way to get cash on the side. Even some cell phone companies try and offer surveys for cash now a days keep your eyes open and make that money.
